Just Thinking

    I don't know why I'm writing this now.  I've told the story many times.  But on 9/11/2001 around 6 a.m. I woke up from a dream.  A dream about the Bible.  About Deuteronomy, and  Leviticus, God saying, "Marty what will I do to the people if they don't obey my word?"  I said, "LORD, I know, it's in Deuteronomy and Leviticus,"  and the LORD said , "Look it up!"  I woke up and said I will but not yet.  I saw that it was just after 6 a.m., so I tried to go back to sleep, but couldn't.  I kept thinking, I know He will cause famines and other things. "Go read it" I heard.  It's was a beautiful day' so I thought I'll wash clothes and hang them on the clothes line first, then I'll vacuum when Jim (my husband) leaves for work, that's at 9 a.m.  I never turned on the television or the radio.          Why are people (Christians) afraid to speak up against the Catholic religion?  I ask this for many reasons (two off-hand) my mother-in-law and Winnie Saia's aunt. I met Winnie's aunt at the last Bible study in June, (this was when I used to go to Garden City Chapel). Roberta, our Bible teacher, took me aside after the Bible study to tell me that Winnie's aunt was a Catholic.  Why was she there then if nobody was going to tell her that the Catholic religion was wrong?  And now that I know Winnie's aunt is Catholic, I still will not back down.  The Catholic religion will send you to hell. I will not back down to anyone, even my mother-in-law, she is the second reason. My sister-in-law would not speak against the Catholic church to her mother, for fear I think, but of what? I don't know.  Hell is for eternity,  just like heaven is for eternity, they both exist.  I wouldn't want to go there (hell) and as a servant of Jesu...

    Are scientists making plagues in their secret laboratories all over the word? Do they think no one sees them? Plagues have been around before there were scientists. God even told the Jewish nation what to do to avoid any plague. Most plagues were caused by uncleanliness. God kept the Jews literally separated from Gentiles when He scattered them throughout the world. God gave Moses the Book of Leviticus. In it God told them in Chapters 11 through 15, the laws of cleanliness. These laws were meant to keep them from getting viruses, bacterial diseases, molds, and plagues by cleaning their bodies, hands and clothing using running water. They were not to eat certain animals and sea creatures. They were to use plants like  hyssop, and cedar chips to clean their houses if a person was sick. If a clay vessel was touched by an unclean person, that vessel was to be broken and thrown away. If it was a wooden vessel it was to be rinsed with water. If...

    A son was born to Jim's niece and husband.  Micah is his great-nephew.  Micah's name means, Who is like the LORD.  The book has seven chapters.  Micah prophesied for about eighty-four years, in, Judah through three kings, during the times of Isaiah the prophet.  God was giving these kings and their people, the Jews over one hundred years to repent.  When Isaiah died, they had around fifty-six years left before King Nebuchadnezzar would come in and destroy their Temple and Nation.  God had even sent the Assyrians in to get their attention.  They would cry out to the LORD, God would save them, they would forget God and go back to their sinful ways. God has given all the peoples  of the world over 2000 years to repent. There is not a god on this earth who is like the LORD.  Chapter one verse two says,"Hear all ye peoples; hearken (hear), O earth, and all that is in it; and let the LORD GOD be witness against you, the LOR...

    I was speaking to a young married couple after church.  We spoke of many things in the Bible, and one of those things was where the temple in Israel would be built.  They had dedicated the altar on the last day of Hanukkah this year at the wailing wall.  I mentioned to them that for sacrificing at the next temple they would need running water near by.  .  Where is the water on the Dome of the Rock?  In Leviticus 8:1-6, The first temple was built, and now the consecrations must begin.  The first was Aaron and his two sons, at the door of the tabernacle.  Moses tells the congregation ,"this is the thing which the LORD commanded to be done.  And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water,"  Lev. 8:5-6.  They also consecrated the offerings of the bullock, then the ram by sacrificing them.  There blood was sprinkled upon the altar then around and about the it.  Moses then washed the inward parts...
