Plagues 5/15/2020

    Are scientists making plagues in their secret laboratories all over the word? Do they think no one sees them?

Plagues have been around before there were scientists. God even told the Jewish nation what to do to avoid any plague. Most plagues were caused by uncleanliness. God kept the Jews literally separated from Gentiles when He scattered them throughout the world. God gave Moses the Book of Leviticus. In it God told them in Chapters 11 through 15, the laws of cleanliness. These laws were meant to keep them from getting viruses, bacterial diseases, molds, and plagues by cleaning their bodies, hands and clothing using running water. They were not to eat certain animals and sea creatures. They were to use plants like  hyssop, and cedar chips to clean their houses if a person was sick. If a clay vessel was touched by an unclean person, that vessel was to be broken and thrown away. If it was a wooden vessel it was to be rinsed with water. If any vessel was chipped or cracked, it was to be thrown away. If a person had leprosy and lived in a house, he was quarantined outside the camp or city walls alone for seven days. Then that person was checked by a priest. Now any childhood disease such as measles, or psoriasis, rashes, boils on the skin were classified as leprosy also, but those whom were sick were to stay in their homes (shut in) for seven days. Then they were checked again every seven days, up to three weeks.  During this time they were to wash their bodies and clothing.  A priest would check them and their clothing. If  they still had the disease or a spot, they would be put outside of the camp or city. If they were clean, cleared by the priest, they had to go to the Temple and bring a sacrifice. The thing is all the other people in the camp or city did not get quarantined. They lived their normal life. There businesses stayed open, they went to the marketplace, they went to church (Temple), and they married. Today some states are letting criminals that are in lock down out of prison, keeping the non criminals (us), locked up.  

    God never tells the whole city or camp to shut themselves in for sickness. When the people sinned continuously, even after God sent Prophets and they still didn't obey or repent of their sins, the plagues that God sent upon the Jews, it didn't matter if they shut themselves in or did ritual cleaning. If you didn't have His mark of protection upon you, you were going to get the plague and die. Those whom had God's mark; the people that put their faith in Him, who obeyed his commands, or repented and turned from their sins before He sent the plague would not die, Ezekiel 9. God hates sin.  It does not matter if you're a Jew or Gentile, believer in Jesus Christ or nonbeliever. There are consequences for sinning.  When your country is corrupt with sin, from the church to the government; when the people don't care about being right or wrong, and continue to do evil in his own eyes, then God may send a plague or war, but you can't call a plague a war.That would  be like saying we are at war with locusts, or cancer.  It's a part of nature, like the common cold. When Presidents say we are at war with this virus, it puts fear in people. When people are afraid, they will do anything to stop the fear. They will even do as they are told: shut themselves in their homes, stay away from their families, neighbors; even stop talking to them.   

    Does the world deserve this situation? Maybe. When you look at the laws throughout most nations, small and large, you find that it's legal to divorce and remarry, even same sexes can marry. It's legal to change your gender. You can steal and not go to jail and not pay back the victim for what you stole or it's worth. You can murder, rape, and kidnap (even if the victim is a child) not get the death penalty, and even get out of prison. It's legal to murder an unborn baby in the womb. Yes we all are sinners, but when the whole world says there is no such thing as sin, just sicknesses like addictions, which you will need a drug to heal your compulsions (that never really gets healed). You will always need the help of a psychoanalysts or organizations like Alcoholics Anonymous to change you or break those addictions, but Jesus is the only way to break all addictions. But the world won't believe that. Matter of fact you just have to BELIEVE. In what?  Any thing or person (especially yourself), but not Jesus. When 9-11 happened people ran to God. It might have only been for a minute, but they asked God to bless this country.  Today the people aren't running to God. You don't need a church building to run to God. So that can't be the excuse for people not looking for God. 

     When the tribulation period does come, I can see why the people won't give up their sinful ways in Revelation 9 and 10. They will just have gotten over the five month plague of the serpent\scorpion, and they won't repent of their murders, sorceries (drugs), fornication, demon worship, idols, silver and gold. And here we are over two months into this "pandemic", and let me tell you that if we are shut down for another six months the majority of the people all over the world, including us, will still believe in the people who run our governments not God, repentance or Jesus. 

    Now Revelation 15:1 says, "And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels filled up with the wrath of God."  Do you know what book in the Bible that talks about seven plagues?  Leviticus 26:18-2.  God has told Israel that if you disobey My commandments He would give them a whole list of ailments, and terror, and if they still disobeyed Him, He (God) would seven times the punishments. There are four warnings of chastisements if they kept walking in a way contrary to Him. So in Revelation 15:1, we see God sending angels down with the LAST seven plagues. I guess that tells us that this virus, COVID-19, won't be the last, and the world will never repent of her sins. The scorpions in Chapter 8, I believe that they are a plague (virus), and they cannot be stopped. It went in to homes hospitals, skyscrapers, caves, bunkers.  If you did not have God's seal on your forehead, and that's throughout the whole world, rich and poor; not just Israel, then you would be bitten by these scorpion looking things that are viruses. When you read Chapter 9:7-10, it gives the description of these viruses.  And in chapter 10:20 it says, "and the rest of the men who were not killed by these plagues", What plagues?  In verse 19 it describes them, along with 9:10, they have tails like scorpions. Now those that didn't get sick, the anti-Christ would know that these people had the mark of God on them and he would go after them and kill many. The marked people believed the two witnesses and/or the 144,000 virgin Jewish men described in Revelation 7:3-8, and 14:1-5.  And they would not take the anti-Christ's mark in their right hand or forehead,Rev. 13:16. Sure Christians have died from this virus, and so have unbelievers in Jesus Christ.  The difference is whether you believe in Jesus. The believer will go to heaven and be with Christ, and the unbeliever will go to hell without Christ. This virus COVID-19, is just the beginning of another stage of the appointed time (birth pain) when all the worlds economies will fall apart, money will be useless, like the confederate dollars after the civil war.  Nations will eventually come together and be one, a one world government. 

Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, No man comes to the Father , but by Me."  John 14:6.  Paul says in Romans 10:8-11,13, "And the word is near thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that is, the word of faith, which we (the Apostles) preach: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the LORD Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him (Jesus) from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on Him (Jesus) shall not be ashamed.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD (Jesus) shall be saved."
