Israel Has Not Been Replaced, The Book of Jeremiah 4/12/2006

First, the land of Israel belongs to God, not man.  Jeremiah 2:7, "And  I brought you (Israel) into a plentiful country, to eat its fruit and its goodness, but when ye entered, ye defiled My land, and made mine heritage an abomination. " In the first three chapters of Jeremiah, God pleads with Israel and Judah; to repent of their idolatrous lifestyle. Jeremiah 3:14-17 says " Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married  unto you; and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion; 15 And I will  give you pastors, according to mine heart, who shall feed  you with knowledge and understanding.  16 And it shall come to pass, when ye are multiplied and increased in the land (Israel) in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, the ark of the covenant of  the LORD; neither shall they visit it, neither shall that be done any more.  17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD, and all nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem; neither shall they walk anymore after the imagination of their evil heart."

God has just spoken to Israel through Jeremiah the prophet, right before King Nebuchadnezzar comes to destroy all Israel, and prophesying up to this present time, and into the future. Today the land of Israel is one. It is no longer the land of Judah (with Benjamin) and the land of the ten tribes (Israel and her kings).  Neither does Israel have the ark of the covenant or a temple, nor do they miss the ark of the covenant today.  All nations gather in Israel today, but not for good, yet.  Muslims  pray in Jerusalem on Friday, Jews on Saturday, and Christians on Sunday. God goes on to say in verses 18 and 19, "In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.  But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations?  And I said, Thou shall call Me, My Father, and shalt not turn away from Me."  This is future Israel; and the people that the Father is talking about are the Jews.  They would become a nation again; and they would start going back to Israel after being scattered into the north (Europe).  But back in Jeremiah's time Israel's time was up.  That generation decided to follow their fathers idolatrous ways.

God says in Jeremiah 6:18-19,  "Therefore hear ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is  among them.  19 Hear O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto My words, nor to My law, but rejected it."
God says in Jeremiah 9:11 that He would make Jerusalem a heap and dens of dragons.  Judah, He would make desolate.  All the land will perish and be made into a wilderness.  God also says that He will scatter them among the nations whom neither they nor their fathers have known, Jeremiah 9:16, and the sword would consume them. (the word scattered in Hebrew means, Jezreel, and the Valley of Jezreel is the Valley of Megiddo).   All these things happen to the Jewish people during Jeremiah's time. Israel would stay in Babylon for seventy years, as  prophesied by Jeremiah, 25:11, "And this whole land (Israel) shall be a desolation, and a astonishment (horror); and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon for seventy years."  The kings would be, Nebuchadnezzar, who took them into captivity; then Darius the Mede, and the Persian king, Cyrus, who would allow the Jews to go back to their land, Israel. But they were still under Persia's jurisdiction in their own country after the seventy years were up.  Then the next empire, Alexander the Great, from Greece would take them over; after Him would come the Roman Empire.  The land of Israel would be ruled over up to Great Britain, and even after WWII, they would only get about thirteen percent of their land back.  Not until Jesus comes back will the Jews get all their land back, and then some, Jeremiah 23:5-6 :

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, The Lord Our Righteousness.
What happened to Israel during the time of Jeremiah and their destruction, is found in Jer. 22:8-9.  The nations asked why did the LORD do this in verse 8, and the answer is found in verse 9."Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD, their GOD, and worshiped other gods, and serve them".  Throughout Jeremiah, God tells Jeremiah to tell His people, the Jews, stop worshiping trees, stones, and the queen of heaven,(Jer. 3:9, 7:18 8:19, 10:2-5, 44:17-19) among other gods.  God not only sent Jeremiah, He sent other prophets before and after Jeremiah, but the Jews still followed the traditions of their forefathers (idols).
But God, in Jeremiah 30:11, still says, "For I am with thee (Israel), saith the Lord, to save thee, though I make a full end of all nations (that includes the United States) to which I have scattered thee ( the Jews), yet will I not make a full end of thee, but will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished."
Do you know that wherever God scattered the Jew He will destroy all those nations.  He will go after all those countries that tried to kill His people, and parted His land.  You can read about their destruction in Isaiah 34:5, Jeremiah 25:14-38, and chapters 49-51. When the nations started parting the land of Israel and giving  away God's land, which started after WWII, God has a judgment day waiting.  Joel 3:1-2 says, "For behold in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, (2)  I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land."  Great Britain was the first to part God's land (Israel), after WWII, only giving the Jewish people about thirteen percent of their land back. Then George W. Bush, got Prime Minister Sharon to give Gaza to the Palestinians on August 9, 2005. Israel did get back the Golan Heights from Syria in the Six-Day War, with the city, Jerusalem, and the West Bank, also the Sinai Peninsula, which they gave the Sinai back to Egypt.

The Bible showed you that in Jeremiah 2:7 that Israel is His alone.  He gave it to Abraham's descendant's Isaac, to Jacob; then to Jacob's  twelve sons to take care of His land, Genesis 25:5-6.  Each of Jacob's eleven sons had a portion of the land. God did not give the tribe of Levi a portion of the land, they were consecrated by God through Aaron and his sons to be priest, and  to keep the Laws, the Sabbath, and Feast days.  Moses' sons took care of the temple.  The eleven tribes gave twenty-three percent of their earnings to God which sustained the Levites throughout Israel.  The Israeli's today are not allow to sell their land or give it away, because it's God's land.

So I will say this to all those who say God is done with the Jews; Where does it say in the Bible that God said, I will utterly forget you, I will  utterly destroy you, You will utterly perish? Every time God says I will not be your God, and you are not My people, like in Hosea, He comes back with "yet the number of the children of Israel shall be like the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass that, in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God." Hosea 1:10.   God said they would continue to do the Passover and the other six feast days until the end of the age, Exodus 12:14.  What ethnic group of people or nations do the seven feasts that are in the Book of Exodus, today?  God is not done with His people the Jewish nation, nor will He ever be. After all, Jesus who is the King of the Jews, Matthew 27:29 and John 19:19-21.
He is the Son of God, and the son of David.  He is fully God and fully man, coming out of the lineage of  king David, from the tribe of Judah.  Who came out of the lineage of Jacob, who is the son of Issac, who is the son of Abraham.  So you need to watch what you think and say about the Jews, because Jesus is a Jew.
