The Last Basket of Summer Fruit, The Judgment of God 9-16-2012 & 9-14-2020

    Thus hath the LORD GOD shown unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit.  And He said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit.  Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel;  I will not again pass by them anymore.- Amos 8:1-2  

  

  Almost every time that fall begins, I ask this question to God; Is this the last basket of summer fruit?  Will the rapture come before the next basket is gathered and I continue to watch?  In these two verses God is telling Amos that He is leaving Israel. The season is September/October, the Jewish fall feast period. The rich, the royals, scribes, and priests with their false prophets are fully corrupted.  It kind of reminds us of our nation and the world today.  I want us to think about the priests.  When God passes judgment on a nation, like Israel and destroys it. It is because of idolatry. That nation started out believing in the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, now they are worshiping everything but the true God, His word, and obeying Him; God even left a remnant, whom the nations disregard, disrespect, hate, imprisons,and murders them. This is what happened to Israel. We also worship idols of:  self esteem, sex, homosexuality, greed, fornication, adultery, occultism, spiritualism, illegal and pharmaceutical drugs, abortion, and murders. Will God judge the church first also?  Some Christians do not read the word of God, but read what man writes about the Word of God. Also God's Word, the Bible, has been tampered with. They have been watered down, leaving out the name of God, and twisting His words around. God says in Amos 8:11-12, "Behold, the days come, saith the LORD GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing of the words of the LORD (the Bible).  And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north.  Even to the east; they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it."  The unbelievers will go to the north, I think of Tibet, and how people listen to the Dali Lama. The unbeliever will go to the east.  I think of eastern religions such as Hinduism, which came to the west as the science of yoga (Occult Invasion, 1998, Dave Hunt, Pg.61 Harvest House) reincarnation, mysticism, Buddhism. Then there is Gaia, the worship of the earth, "mother nature". This may be why our trees in the west are on fire. Out west they cannot cut down dead trees or clean up pine needles in the forest; or around their homes, so when lightning strikes a tree the fires grow because of all the dry dead brush, and pine needles that lay on the ground. This world has also left God out of their governments, schools and churches.

    So here is this virus. It's not the first, nor the last.  But it is the first virus that the peoples around the world have allowed to control them. In the beginning the nations shut down the businesses and the churches for two weeks.  Then it became two  to three months. Some states still have not allowed some businesses or churches to open.  California is one of those states. I don't know if any state is open at full capacity. You have strict guidelines like wearing a mask and sanitizing everything, 25% capacity in stores and restaurants (unless your store is Walmart).  Christians and nonbelievers may have complained, but the majority did as they were told.  The scary part is that they believe the government and can't wait to get the CoVID-19 vaccine.  

    So, the church doors were closed across the country, and probably the world. We fear the government more than we fear God. When 9-11-2001 happened, the people feared when President Bush said we are at war with terrorism.  Even nonbelievers ran to the churches then. They may not have stayed more than a month, but they went.  And they put flags on their cars, God Bless America was proclaimed all over the country. More than I can say about Christians when President Trump said we are at war with a virus called CoVid-19. We locked ourselves in our homes fearing that we would get this flu and die with the thousands like in China, and around the world; believing Dr. Fauci, the CDC, and Bill Gates, telling us that a mask, quarantine, and practicing social distancing, meaning no weddings, funerals, no parties, no graduation ceremonies, and that would help us from getting this virus.  I don't know who said this, "the New Normal".  In other words, get used to masks and distancing. Do you know and understand what the word normal means?  It means the usual standard or type; regular; usual ; natural; typical, and sane. It's either normal like your body temperature, or abnormal, like a fever. It is normal for the flu to come every year around the time schools start in September through February\ March.  And people die from it.  A lot of people every year. For instance, the Hong Kong flu in 1968-69 killed globally about one million people and about 100,000 in the US. Woodstock was still held. The Hong Kong flu started in China, SARS-CoV started 2002-2004 in China, and jumped to Hong Kong; the bird flu started in China, Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam in late 2003. Every year it can kill up to hundreds of thousands all over the world. There has never been a quarantine, lock-down, or mask wearing because of it.  Why now?

    This is the first time that man has done the opposite, quarantine the healthy, closing ourselves in for months trying to avoid this virus. The flu goes around every year ( which it should be starting now).  More than likely, this time around CoVID-19 may cause a flu pandemic because we didn't do the norm. Our immune systems may not work the way they are supposed to anymore. Dr. Fauci, the CDC, and Bill Gates will make billions of dollars on the vaccine, whether it works or not. They have killed millions of people from this man-made virus. All the viruses I mentioned were started in China.  Bill Gates and Dr. Fauci have been there in Wuhan, China. Cameras are everywhere in China.

    So what will the believers and non-believers do when this next wave hits?  Will we allow the churches and businesses to be shut down again?  Or will we seek the LORD, and hopefully, He doesn't say they will never find Him when they search for Him in the North, East and and West, Amos 8:12, or like what Jesus said, "And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you:  depart from Me, ye that work iniquity (sin).  So be warned, the last basket of fruit is coming.  It may be this year or fifty years from now, but it is coming. You and I may be in the grave before the last basket of fruit comes; either way, I'll be in heaven. Not because I'm a good person, but because Jesus died, His blood covered my sins. I can't save myself because I'm a sinner, but Jesus is sinless and is God and man. He is my Savior. Call upon His name right now before it's too late, and let Him be your Savior. As I said before I'm going to heaven, where will you be going?
